In 1993, Muskoka Timber Mills was established in the lumber industry as a sawmill specializing in White Pine Timbers. We expanded our scope within the industry by exploring specialized moulding and value-added finishing to our wood products. In 2019, a devastating fire destroyed most of the sawmill, buildings, and majority of materials on-site. Demonstrating resilience, our employees rebuilt Muskoka Timber Mills with a renewed focus on specialized moulding and pre-finishing wood. Over time, Muskoka Timber Mills has evolved into a renowned manufacturer of custom, high-end wood building products. 

Since overcoming the fire, Muskoka Timber Mills has expanded remarkably to meet the diverse needs of our customers. As a fully vertically integrated facility, we oversee every stage of production, from harvesting our own trees and cutting our own logs in private forests to sawing, drying, moulding, millwork, and pre-finishing. This seamless process allows our customers unparalleled customization at every step, resulting in a truly unique final product. With the recent affiliation of our sister company, Trans Canada Wood Products, MTM customers now have access to thousands of resale items for next-day delivery, further enhancing our service. This partnership also increases our buying power, helping us keep prices low without compromising quality. Our team collaborates with North America's premier architects, builders, and designers to produce trendsetting, functional wood products characterized by precision and artistry.
